Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for her many different kinds of roles in film, television, and theatre. She has received many accolades including the Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Celeste Heche (May 25 1969 - August 11, 2022) was an American actress. She first gained recognition for her roles as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love in the soap-opera Another World (from 1987-1991), she won two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In the late 1990s, she began to gain prominence due to her roles in crime dramas Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer and the political comedy Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney, September 6th 1953. She is an American Actress. She is well known for her character as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is a daughter of actor June Lockhart. Her grandfather was actor Gene Lockhart. The career of Lockhart began when she was a child. The first time she appeared on screen was in the age of four when she appeared on T is for Tumbleweed. The short film on the subject was nominated by the Academy Awards. Her mother took her to the Studio where she was introduced to the workings of the film industry. Lockhart played in numerous scenes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first film. The Sixth Sense was a television show that aired in 1972. At the age of 18 she played Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. The show was Joan's final acting appearance. There is a popular belief that Anne did not want to play the part as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later played by Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter says that the actress turned down his offer to be Laurie Strode. Anne does not remember being being contacted with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the job. Perhaps her agent rejected the role off without notifying Anne. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft of the script for a role in the television series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. She initially refused the part because the character was not that strong. Glen created a completely new character for her called Sheba that was more powerful. After reading the initial 25 pages of the The Living Legend script, The Living Legend she accepted instantly. It lasted for just one season. The actress co-starred on Joyride along with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
