Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis, the American producer and actress who has worked in theater and television as well, is actively involved in both the film and theater screen. Her acting career started in the theater. Then she appeared on several television shows, independent films and mainstream film. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing show The Book of Negroes she appeared. In addition, she receive critical acclaim for her role but did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. Her first professional performance was as Ariel, as Ariel, The Tempest. The actress has appeared in Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry, she's best known for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her work in television she has been praised for her performance as a regular character on ABC's cop drama High Incident.
